Porter Curtis is a specialist in the design and application of permanent and corrective cosmetics. She is certified by the Board of Cosmetology and a member of The Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals Association. She has completed several courses in facial structure, color theory, make-up artistry, cosmetic tattoo removal (laser-free), and cosmetic tattoo application using a state of the art micro-pigmentation machine which is a Computerized Device Certified at European Medical Standard. Porter has 15 years of experience in the make up and beauty industry. She has had the opportunity to meet and work with many of the pioneers of our industry such as Paula Pilmanis, founder of Derma graphics, Inc. member SPCP, Susan Church C.C.P.C. Director, SPCP., Dixie Medford from Dallas Texas, and Dr. Linda Dixon trainer and board member of American Academy of Micro pigmentation, Inc. Porter also traveled for a year to Tampa Florida working with a professional tattoo artist mastering their technique. Porter has also completed her apprenticeship for one year in Knoxville TN with Flora West who has twenty years of experience and a pioneer in our industry. She will continue working with and learning from only the best in her industry. Porter has studied under Debra Guastella, trainer and expert in areola repigmentation procedures out of New Orleans. Ms. Curtis donates her time to patients needing areola tattooing who have experienced breast cancer reconstruction for the small fee of fifty dollars per breast for tattooing. This is her way of helping the women in Tennessee with breast cancer. Porter has mastered the art of permanent make up application, patience, and eye for detail and bone structure of the face. Porter, an experienced permanent make-up artist, is a highly dedicated professional, she maintains an extensive library of “before and after” photographs, including corrective procedures. Porter works in the Memphis TN offices of The Women's Medical Spa, Dr. Robin Stevenson, Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery Center. Dr. John Griffin in Columbus MS and in the Jackson MS offices of Dr. Faucett of Trio Hair Skin and Body, Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell and Dr. George E. Abraham, along with many other professional groups.
